How EveryStudentSent.org helps Churches
Your goal as a church is to develop life-long disciples and world-changers who have a passion to make disciples themselves. This is often cut short. A Navigators study showed that the connections made during the first 72 hours on campus often dictate life-time spiritual trajectories. Connecting in advance has been shown to reverse much of the 70% college faith drop-off, and becomes the best opportunity of a lifetime to influence new students for Christ! Creating tangible experiences for 10-12th grade students makes all the difference. ESS helps you and your parents disciple students for the life in front of them including Career, Calling and college prep to minimize student debt. To fully explore www.EveryStudentSent.org, and this page, you will first need to register above as a Youth Minister or Parent.
- Now students can connect and chat with campus ministries and churches at nearly every US university, and interact in social groups run by campus ministries and churches so they land on campus with a team already!
- Give all high school students a tangible and exciting vision for mission at their future secular or Christian university. The social space allows them to sample and engage with campus ministry even in the time of COVD shutdown.
- Help juniors, seniors, and parents select universities based on getting to know ministries and students on campus. Includes college prep resources and discipleship tools you and families can use to identify major, career, & calling, and to avoid crippling student debt.
- A Youth Pastor Dashboard allows you to upload all your students and see their level of engagement with no extra effort. How to upload students,
- Hold Some Great Youth Group Meetings!
- Thrive Course. Show one or more of the eleven 10-minute videos with discussion questions about mission at college,. Students love this.
- Worldview - Watch these Summit Ministries videos together and discuss.
- Exploring Colleges - Put Every Student Sent on a big monitor and start calling out and exploring ministries together at colleges. Even sophomores love thinking about the future.
- Show testimonies of college students and awakenings. Use this growing list of videos to spark discussions about God's work in their hearts and an exciting future.
- Helps your church become a catalyst for your city so that all churches and Christian schools are increasing the number of disciples who make disciples. See City Movement Page.

OTHER STEPS YOU CAN TAKE
- Set up your Church and Pastor Dashboard. We can do this for you, or you can follow these steps This will allow you to upload all your students by graduation year, automatically invite them, and see their level of engagement at a glance with no additional work on your part. We recommend that you upload grades 10-12. See contact information at the bottom if you would like some help.
- During Junior and Senior college search, encourage students to make ministry and church connections part of their selection criteria.
- As soon as final colleges are selected in the senior year, recommend students become an active member in ministry social groups at that university and team up with other incoming students, and collaborate how to reach their dorms during first weeks Sweet Spot.
- During Christmas break, invite your recent grads to share with your students about their first semester in college, and how helpful it was during the first weeks to already have friends, mentors, and study partners, and how they had seen students come to Christ and be transformed. Take the energy there and adopt a local high school in collaboration with our high school partners like Youth Alive, FCA, Cru High School, YFC, Young Life, etc.
- Add your church to local university listings. Go to Create a Group in "My Sent Hub" and create a separate group for each college so that incoming students find you.
- Bless your community. Spread the good news about Every Student Sent to all other churches and Christian schools in your community. Send this ESS Churches Page, and this City Movement Page.
