Helping Current Students prepare for their Profession and Impact their Departments
The national goal is that no student will start college alone, the 70% drop-off will be reversed, to number of freshmen disciple-makers, who will then impact their academic departments and the workplace
Now with the help of marketplace ministries from every discipline, helps your ministry and students effectively reach their academic department, followed by transition to their new city upon graduation with leaders within their chosen profession. See ESS Marketplace.
MESSAGES FROM LEADERS
Paul Worcester - BCM

Yasmin Pierce - Circuit Riders
Jeremy Story - CBN News - How ESS Works
Josh McDowell - CRU / Josh McDowell Ministry
“When Christian college freshmen are alone, their faith rarely survives in today’s college environment. The good news is that when they’re connected in advance to campus ministries, churches, and Christian friends, they not only survive, but thrive and impact their classmates. Every Student Sent will help parents, churches, and ministries to turn the tide so this generation can now become the leaders of tomorrow.” Recent exhortation from Josh.
Mark Gauthier - Exec Dir., CRU
“I want to encourage you as you think about your transition to a college campus to think about how you’re going to develop spiritually. We want to encourage you to connect up with Every Student Sent. It’s a resource to help you connect up with a vibrant Christian community. That will make all the difference in your life of what God has in store for you.”
Jason Thomas - Exec Vice President, Intervarsity
“Don’t do the college experience alone. Plug into community. A great way to do that is to check out Every Student Sent for communities that already exist on your campus. Think about the university as a place God’s calling you to serve and love the campus with a group of believers together. Every Student Sent is a great way to find out what God is doing there and inviting you into.”
How to attract more students to your ministry
Post what God is doing in your ministry and campus! This not only helps your ministry but adding to the stream of how God is moving helps the nation.
-
Profiles - Encourage your student leaders and students to complete their profile along with a recognizable photo so your page is friendly and welcoming.
-
Post within your group under "Share something with your group"
-
By default, this will show up on the national feed which will give you exposure and add to the national awareness that God is moving on campuses to energize high school students
-
Use a group or other photo and some descriptive words and a link to an event if you like. Videos are fine too.
-
Ask your student leaders to post regularly, as well as all students if you wish. You can delete any photos in your feed and you can also set permissions within "Settings"
-
You can also use your normal Instagram/Facebook photos - but less "produced" photos of what God is doing are powerful
-
Encourage your students to share Every Student Sent with their home youth leaders to stop the 70% college faith drop off and engage more workers for the Kingdom!
